Job DescriptionThe Medical Director, GI Oncology and Solid Tumors will report to the Executive Director, Solid Tumors and assume a key role within the US Medical Affairs organization. The Medical Director (MD) will provide leadership and direction to a cross functional Medical Affairs team in the development and execution of the Medical Affairs plans and collaborate with the brand team and Clinical Development in the strategic planning and life cycle management of marketed and in-development products. Serving as the subject matter expert, the MD will provide direction and support to internal colleagues (sales, marketing, regulatory, and clinical), resolve medical issues, and provide critical input in the development of medical documents (product materials, research ideas, internal trainings, etc.) to ensure high strategic and scientific standards. The Medical Director will ensure strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders and professional societies in oncology and represent Medical Affairs externally through presentations at advisory boards, key scientific meetings, and interactions with our key investigators. They will work collaboratively with Jazz’s development partners or alliance partners as needed.

$216,000.00 - $324,000.00Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.
At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz’s Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
