Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
• Previous leadership or mentorship experience preferred
• Passion for high-quality medicine and coaching others
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and client relationship skills
• Interest in helping grow the hospital while fostering a positive team culture
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and client service

Responsibilities

• Lead and uphold medical quality standards and best practices throughout the hospital.
• Mentor and support associate veterinarians while fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Partner with the Hospital Manager to support recruiting, onboarding, and professional development.
• Provide exceptional medical, surgical, and dental care to companion animals and exotics.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver outstanding patient care and client service.
• Guide clinical protocols, workflows, and medical decision-making.
• Foster a positive, supportive culture that prioritizes teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Balance leadership responsibilities while maintaining an active clinical caseload.
