Full Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Director Addiction Medicine Physician (M.D. or D.O.) providing comprehensive addiction medicine care to patients with substance use disorders.

The position would be 25% inpatient and 75% outpatient practice.

In-patient Unit has 20 beds.
We also have a Methadone Clinic supporting approximately 620 patients.
Position would manage and have oversight of 5 Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioners and 1 Physician.

Must be board certified/eligible.
Must have completed an ACGME accredited Addiction Medicine fellowship.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit:
UHS New Horizons Outpatient Addiction Medicine

Annual Compensation Range:
$310,249 - $326,600

The physician would perform histories and physical exams and medication management visits, and offers medical care for complications of substance use disorders, as clinically appropriate. Engages in all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis and treatment. Orders labs, EKGs, and other tests as clinically indicated. Leads and/or attends multidisciplinary team meetings in the Addiction Medicine Department.

This is for our UHS Addiction Medicine Clinic located at Binghamton General Hospital. Office hours Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Salary Range: $310,249 - $326,600 annually
