Mechatronic Installation Supervisor is responsible for supervising the electrical and mechanical installation of assigned subsystems at customer sites. This role leads internal installation staff and contractor teams, ensures compliance with quality, schedule, cost, safety, and technical standards, and supports a smooth handover to Controls for MHE/PLC commissioning.
What you'll do:- Supervise electrical and mechanical installation activities for assigned subsystems, ensuring compliance with drawings, installation instructions, technical standards, regulations, project schedules, and quality requirements.
- Lead on-site employees and installation contractors by assigning work packages, planning staffing, monitoring performance and working hours, and providing guidance and training.
- Coordinate site setup, material deliveries, storage, installation aids, replenishment, stock movements, and return shipments in line with installation progress.
- Manage subsystem interfaces, document and drive resolution of open issues, and provide regular progress reports to the Installation Manager and MHE Manager.
- Support mechatronic commissioning and handover to Controls, including electrical installation verification, parameterization of sensors and scanners, test records, as-built documentation, and commissioning data.
- Enforce health, safety, PPE, and regulatory requirements; conduct safety briefings and implement required safety measures with the safety manager.
- Participate in site meetings and act as the on-site technical contact for the Installation Manager, MHE Manager, Site Manager, contractors, and project team.
What you'll bring:- Completed technical education in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field, such as an apprenticeship, technical college, or higher technical institute.
- At least 1 year of international installation experience in a responsible installation-supervision role, ideally in electrical or mechatronic installation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical installation processes, subsystem functionality, commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site technical standards.
- Experience with commissioning and PLC tools, including SIMATIC Manager, TIA Portal, SOPAS, Fluke View Forms, and/or SEW Motion Studio.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical software such as DWG TrueView and ePLAN.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and hands-on technical skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 100%
