Project Overview:Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Job Summary:Assigned to a field construction organization in a supervisory capacity for mechanical scope. Responsible for directing and coordinating direct hire Craft Professional activities ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of mechanical installations. Ensures work is performed in accordance with design, within schedule, and aligned with project objectives while maintaining productivity and workforce performance. #LI-CL1
Major Responsibilities:• Provides daily direction to mechanical Craft Professionals to ensure Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into all mechanical construction activities.
• Determines workforce requirements and allocates labor to support planned work activities and overall project schedule.
• Develops and maintains work plans, sequencing, and schedules for mechanical installations.
• Ensures materials, tools, and equipment are available to support mechanical work execution.
• Monitors installation activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Coordinates with field engineers and craft professionals to interpret engineering and vendor documents.
• Identifies and resolves constructability issues in coordination with field engineering.
• Monitors productivity and performance of craft to maintain schedule and efficiency.
Education and Experience Requirements:- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Knowledge and Skills:• Knowledge of mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning practices and requirements.
• Understanding of workforce planning, productivity, and craft supervision for large construction projects.
• Ability to direct and motivate Craft Professionals to maintain safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Experience ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and mechanical standards.
• Understanding of material, tool, and equipment coordination to support field execution.
• Ability to identify issues, resolve problems, and communicate clearly with field engineering.
