Description
Magnolia Companies is seeking a skilled Mechanical & Plumbing BIM Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate 3D models of Mechanical Systems Piping/Equipment Layout in Revit for preparing Shop Drawings and Points Layout for field installation and shop fabrication.
Responsibilities- Using Project Plans, Specifications and Submittals.
- Accurately produce 3D models of Mechanical Systems Piping/Equipment Layout in Revit for preparing Shop Drawings and Points Layout for field installation and shop fabrication.
- Follow BIM Execution Plan (Model Standards, naming conventions, Data Exchange Protocols).
- Manage changes and update model.
- Identify/Address Potential Conflicts through RFI Process.
- Participate/Collaborate/Resolve Issues during Coordination/Clash Detection, communicating with Team Members and other Trade Disciplines.
Requirements
- Strong Knowledge of the Construction Process and Plumbing/Mechanical Systems/Modeling using Revit Software & Functionalities, Model Review, Clash Detection and Coordination Workflows.
- Strong Knowledge of Software Applications (Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, Revit, Navisworks, Vic Tools).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical Systems Piping/Equipment Layout.

Salary Description
$80,000+ Annually, Depending on Experience
