JOB DESCRIPTION
Engineer responsible for package procurement engineering.
To understand and comply to the project and PO schedule with supplier.
Review on topside engineering sub-contractor deliverables (MDS, Specification, TBE Report, POQR, TQ, inter-disciplines documents related to packages) with reference to project specification.
Expedite the response from topside engineering subcontractor, clients, vendors and OEE cross disciplines.
Monitor the progress of engineering subcontractor closely and ensure project target date is met.
Participates in bids clarification meeting, kick off meeting, design reviews, technical safety studies workshop, model reviews for packages.
To support procurement to resolve technical disputes and other discrepancies, where applicable.
Review and comment on vendor submitted documents during detailed engineering.
Provide technical support to installation, construction and commissioning team.
Attend FAT and attend receiving inspections, when assigned.
Resolve comments related to packages handled.
