We'd love to hear from you!What You'll DoAs a key member of our Design Engineering team, you will support established product lines throughout their life cycle while identifying opportunities to improve performance, manufacturability, and cost.

Solve Real-World Engineering Challenges: Provide technical support to customers and AAP manufacturing facilities, investigate product questions, and help resolve design and production issues.

Improve Existing Products: Develop product extensions and implement design modifications that enhance product performance, functionality, and manufacturability.

Bring Designs to Life: Create and update 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, and supporting technical documentation.

Manage Engineering Changes: Prepare and support engineering change requests and orders, maintain accurate product documentation, and communicate product changes to customers.

Drive Cost Savings: Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities across assigned product lines without compromising product quality or performance.
•
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Marketing, Sales, Quality, Operations, customers, and manufacturing teams to develop practical solutions and drive continuous improvement.

Support Products Throughout Their Life Cycle: Help ensure our released products continue to meet customer requirements and business needs.
What You'll BringWe're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented engineer who enjoys working through technical challenges, collaborating with others, and finding ways to make products better.
Required and Preferred Qualifications- Associate degree in Engineering or a related technical field; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related engineering experience desired.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks CAD software.
- Understanding of engineering materials, including metals and plastics, manufacturing processes, and assembly design principles.
- Familiarity with engineering change processes and systems.
- Experience with engineering data management systems; SolidWorks ePDM experience is preferred.
- A strong work ethic, problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Experience That Will Make You Stand Out- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Background in connectors, cable assemblies, or electromechanical products.
- Experience supporting released products, product improvements, or cost-reduction initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with global engineering and manufacturing teams.
