SMMA has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience. This position offers the ability to lead a range of multiple design project types and requires a good balance of leadership, technical, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from concept design through construction administration in a range of project types
- Demonstrate experience with a range of system types and ability to support technical discussions
- Prepare HVAC drawings utilizing Autodesk Revit Building Information Modelling (BIM) Software
- Conduct construction site visits and review construction administration submittals
- Guide and mentor junior team members throughout project design phases
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in HVAC systems design and leading projects
- Registration as a Professional Engineer preferred
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Load Calculation programs and MS Office
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to conduct visits to active construction sites and climb ladders.

The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000 - $145,000.
