Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC & Plumbing design experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in Revit for 3D modeling required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of engineering theories and methodologies.
• Familiarity with project approaches and system design.
• Interpersonal skills to cultivate client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical engineering scope to align with project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Engage with clients to assess and fulfill specific project requirements.
• Lead mechanical design initiatives for diverse sectors including education, commercial, and defense.
• Execute load calculations and select appropriate equipment and systems.
• Design layouts for ductwork, piping, and central utilities using Revit.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and owner guidelines.
• Review project submittals for adherence to project specs and regulations.
• Conduct due diligence and support construction administration processes.
• Prepare technical documentation including reports and specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers in technical and professional development.
