Position Title: MECHANICAL DESIGNER Location: HOUSTON, TX FLSA Class: EXEMPT Responsible to: TEAM LEAD - DATA CENTER DESIGN
Position Summary: This position is primarily responsible for the creation, organization, and dissemination of mechanical designs as needed by the Engineering team. Duties can involve some hands-on work, and document writing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Use Inventor/ AutoCad software to create detailed 3D designs for complex projects for turnkey
power generation solutions.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to develop accurate
and complete schematics.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Perform quality checks on completed schematics to ensure accuracy.
Maintain organized and accurate records of schematics and related documentation.
Continuously improve skills and knowledge related to drafting and AutoCAD software.
Assist the team with equipment drawings and installation/testing.
Collaborate with engineers to develop accurate technical specifications and RFQ's.
Qualifications:
