Role OverviewThis role will oversee mechanical construction activities and work closely with contractors, project teams, and key stakeholders to support the successful execution of upcoming project phases. This is a long-term, onsite opportunity. Traveling candidates are encouraged to apply, and monthly per
diem is provided for qualified travelers.
Responsibilities - Provide field oversight and construction management for mechanical scopes throughout the project.
- Coordinate mechanical construction activities with contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and other project disciplines.
- Monitor field activities to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements.
- Support planning, sequencing, and coordination of mechanical work during ground-up construction.
- Review construction progress and identify potential schedule impacts, field conflicts, or risks requiring resolution.
- Participate in field walks, construction meetings, coordination meetings, and project progress reviews.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to resolve field issues and maintain alignment across mechanical and related MEP scopes.
- Monitor contractor performance and support successful execution of project milestones.
- Provide clear communication and reporting regarding construction progress, risks, constraints, and upcoming activities
Requirements
Qualifications - 8+ years of progressive mechanical construction experience, including experience in a construction management, superintendent, project management, or similar field leadership capacity.
- Experience supporting large-scale ground-up construction projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical construction, including HVAC, piping, mechanical utilities, equipment installation, and related systems.
- Previous experience in a Mechanical Construction Manager, Mechanical Superintendent, Project Manager, or similar field leadership role.
- Experience within semiconductor, data center, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial construction is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, contractor coordination, safety, quality, and schedule management.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite for the duration of the project. Relocation is not required; traveling professionals are welcome to apply
Work Location/Travel Expectations Primarily on-site at construction projects, with some office work for reporting and documentation.
Travel may be required depending on project locations
