Full Job Description
The Oxford Rehab is looking for an MDS Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating the Minimum Data Set (MDS) process, overseeing resident care plans, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

The Oxford is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility. $42 to $47 an hour if an LPN, $48 to $55 if an RN. Weekly pay.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate MDS process, including resident assessment, care planning, and data collection
  • Oversee ADL training for facility and staff
  • Issue and deliver denial notices timely and appropriately
  • Complete and transmit all CMS-approved item sets (MDS)
  • Maintain adequate systems to ensure appropriate documents are sufficient to support billed services
  • Other duties assigned by manager

Requirements:
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college or university, RN preferred
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN/LPN in this state
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must possess accurate and comprehensive assessment skills to ensure standards of nursing practice
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations
  • Must be willing to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
  • Must possess leadership and supervisory ability
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
