Job DescriptionYOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE We're seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Master Data Management (MDM) System Analyst to join our Master Data Management team. In this role, you'll help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of critical business data across systems. You'll support enterprise data initiatives, improve data quality, strengthen governance practices, and enable reliable, data-driven decision-making across the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN - Maintain and manage master data across key domains, including product, location, customer, vendor, and employee data.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to improve data quality and consistency.
- Use Python and other programming tools to resolve data discrepancies and build or restructure business rules and conditions.
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies across systems.
- Support Master Data Management tools and platforms through configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze problems, determine root causes, and recommend effective solutions or improvements that increase data integrity.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define data standards, policies, and governance processes.
- Participate in data migration, integration, and transformation projects.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
- Support the implementation of data governance frameworks and data stewardship programs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data definitions, data flows, business rules, systems, and processes.
- Generate reports and dashboards that track data quality metrics and key performance indicators.
- Provide training and support to business users on Master Data Management processes and tools.
WHAT YOU BRING - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five to seven years of experience in data management, data profiling and cleansing, system integrations, and master data systems.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and relational databases.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, APIs, and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of data integrations across systems and the ability to manage them.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
WHAT SETS YOU APART - Experience with Master Data Management tools such as Informatica, Syndigo, or Stibo.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.
