Full Job Description
  • Lead and develop a cross-functional materials team, including Assistant Material Managers, Logistics Specialists, Coordinators, and Planners
  • Establish and maintain standardized systems and processes to ensure accurate, timely reporting and data integrity
  • Partner with manufacturing and customers to align production schedules, transportation, and inventory levels to meet demand
  • Ensure receiving processes and system transactions are accurate to protect inventory integrity and system reliability
  • Drive team performance through coaching, development, and ongoing evaluation to meet current and future business needs
  • Manage supplier relationships with a focus on performance, accountability, and alignment to operational objectives
  • Oversee end-to-end material flow, ensuring timely procurement of production and service components
  • Monitor inventory health, cycle counts, and accuracy to consistently meet company targets
  • Evaluate equipment and service capabilities to ensure alignment with production volumes and operational demands
  • Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives across materials, logistics, and packaging functions
  • Establish and track key operating indicators (KOIs), driving accountability to achieve business goals
  • Oversee packaging and logistics strategies, including premium freight reduction, routing optimization, and customer compliance (CLIPS)
  • Maintain and optimize PFEP (Plan for Every Part), ensuring effective Min/Max inventory levels across all locations
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company standards and operational requirements
  • Promote a safe work environment by adhering to and reinforcing emergency and safety protocols
  • Support additional business needs and initiatives as required by leadership
