At Wiers, our Master Mobile Diesel Technicians bring that expertise directly to the customer. You'll have the independence to handle advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics in the field, manage your service territory, and work directly with fleet customers. What You'll DoYou'll be the trusted expert fleets rely on when they need service at their location.
- Diagnose and repair diesel systems on-site-from routine maintenance to complex issues
- Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance
- Keep fleets compliant, reliable, and operational
- Representing Wiers with professionalism, consistency, and skill
What You Bring- 5+ years of diesel technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred, not required)
- Ability to handle heavy components and work in field conditions
- Customer-focused mindset with professional communication skills
Preferred Qualifications- ASE certifications
- Manufacturer certifications (Cummins, Detroit, Navistar, etc.)
- Mobile or field service experience
- DOT inspection experience
- Advanced diagnostic training
