Responsibilities- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and electronic vehicle concerns
- Perform repairs accurately and efficiently to manufacturer specifications
- Complete engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and electrical repairs
- Utilize factory scan tools and advanced diagnostic equipment
- Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs
- Road test vehicles to verify repairs
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations with Service Advisors
- Mentor and assist apprentice and entry-level technicians
- Maintain detailed repair documentation
- Stay current with manufacturer training and emerging vehicle technologies
Qualifications- Previous dealership experience preferred
- Master Technician experience required
- ASE Certifications strongly preferred
- Manufacturer certifications are a plus
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment
- Own professional automotive tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
