What's the role? We're looking for a MarTech Systems Specialist to join Etsy's Retention & Engagement Marketing Operations & Insights team. You will be responsible for the technical systems that let REM launch campaigns, investigate bugs, and improve workflows with our engineering and product partners. Your goal will be to drive faster campaign delivery with fewer bugs and less dependence on Engineering using the latest MarTech advancements.
You will work with Marketing, Product, and Engineering partners to take technical work that today sits between teams and make it owned: bug intake through resolution, workflow automation, and tooling that supports experimentation and personalization. You will also spend part of your time building campaigns in Braze alongside the development team, but the rest will be spent making the systems around those builds more reliable and self-sufficient.
The ideal candidate is a technically fluent MarTech specialist who can diagnose a broken send, explain the root cause to a non-technical partner, and change the workflow so that class of issue does not come back - and who stays up-to-date on emerging tools and industry standards to keep improving how we work.
This is a full time role reporting to the Senior Manager, Retention & Engagement Marketing.
