The Marketing Team Lead owns how CaseGuard goes to market: the campaigns that bring in leads, the content and search presence that build trust in Google and AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity, and the launches, webinars, and partnerships that extend our reach. This is a player-coach role. You will lead and coach our marketing team while staying hands-on with campaigns, copy, and reporting.
Responsibilities:- Lead, coach, and set weekly priorities for the marketing team while staying hands-on with execution.
- Plan and run the team's quarterly OKRs so everyone works toward the same projects, and report results to leadership.
- Own demand generation and paid search: plan, launch, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across video, audio, document, and image redaction, and own the goal for qualified lead generation.
- Partner with Sales on lead quality, follow-up, and handoff, and build landing pages, forms, and email nurture flows that convert.
- Set the content and search strategy for caseguard.com, including blogs, case studies, and product and industry pages, and guide the team's SEO and GEO work so CaseGuard ranks in search and gets cited in AI answers.
- Lead product marketing: sharpen positioning and messaging for each audience, from law enforcement to legal and healthcare, and run product and feature launches with the Product team.
- Create comparison pages, battlecards, and sales materials that help Sales close deals, and keep a close eye on competitors and market changes.
- Plan and promote webinars from topic selection to registration to follow-up.
- Build co-marketing with partners, including joint content, events, partner spotlights, and co-branded materials, and give partners what they need to sell CaseGuard.
- Track performance in GA4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and Semrush; report on leads, pipeline, traffic, and campaign ROI, and make budget decisions based on the data.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2-5 years of experience in product or growth marketing, ideally at a SaaS or technology company.
- Experience leading people or projects, such as managing a teammate, mentoring junior marketers, or running cross-functional campaigns.
- Proven track record of generating leads and pipeline, with results you can share.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, GA4, Google Search Console, Salesforce, and an SEO platform such as Semrush (or Ahrefs, Moz, or similar).
- Working understanding of SEO and how AI answer engines surface and cite content.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn technical product details into clear, compelling messaging.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, balance multiple projects, and move between strategy and execution.
- Analytical mindset with comfort pulling, interpreting, and presenting data.
- Experience marketing to government, law enforcement, legal, or healthcare buyers is a plus.
- Experience running webinars, partner programs, or co-marketing is a plus.
- Familiarity with WordPress and marketing automation tools is a plus.
