In this role you will be the strategic thought partner and operations architect for a marketing leader and their team, accountable for how a significant portfolio within Marketing plans, operates, and evolves. This role sits inside Marketing's shift to an AI-native operating model, and we expect the person in it to build with AI as a default.
Responsibilities
Partner with a marketing leadership team to shape organizational strategy and lead annual and ad hoc planning for their portfolio
• Build investment cases for the annual plan and incremental resource asks, including driving the trade-off discussions that precede them
• Define and track org-level goals, and connect them to how budget and headcount are actually deployed
• Distill business insights from resource and portfolio data to support prioritization decisions
• Define, implement, and refine the rhythms of business, ways of working, and decision forums for the organization
• Facilitate the organization's core leadership forums: sharpen the agenda, land explicit owners and next steps, and close the loop on decisions
• Identify and structure emerging misalignments, then either resolve them or escalate them cleanly
• Partner with Finance, HRBP, Insights, Analytics, and Media on the inputs that inform resource allocation
• Quarterback resolution of cross-org problems where no single team owns the outcome
• Lead change management for new operating models, including the transition to AI-native ways of working
• Build reusable capability, including canonical documentation, agent-ready context, and standards encoded as tools, so that improvements compound instead of resetting with each cycle
• Communicate up, down, and across the organization to sustain transparency, alignment, and advocacy
Minimum Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience across strategy, operations, or marketing, including experience as the strategic partner to a senior leader
• Experience designing and running the operating cadence of a large, matrixed organization, including planning cycles, goal setting, and business reviews
• Track record of framing ambiguous, cross-organizational problems and driving them to a decision
• Experience communicating complex, large-scale concepts clearly and simply, including to executive audiences
• Experience influencing senior leaders without formal authority
• Experience balancing attention to detail with big-picture strategic thinking
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and balancing analysis against execution
• Experience using AI tools to change how work gets done, not only to speed up existing tasks
Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• MBA or related graduate degree
• Experience in management consulting or in-house strategy and operations
• Experience in consumer marketing, consumer technology, or media planning
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
