Marketing Manager

OVERVIEW

Reporting to the CMO, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing audience development and growth marketing strategies and plans for Futuro Media and its content across channels.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the execution of launch plans for Futuro Media's new shows and seasons, which may include but is not limited to:
    • Negotiating and executing cross-promo trades
    • Pitching guesting opportunities for our talent and press
    • Managing promotion on owned media/network
    • Pitching for editorial support from podcast platforms
  • Responsible for the meticulous, high-quality implementation of Futuro Media's social content strategy across all existing and emerging platforms, consistent with the editorial calendar and including but not limited to scheduling posts, creating video assets, writing captions, writing email campaigns.
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing independent contractors and freelancers responsible for asset development and creation.
  • Serve as steward of Futuro's marketing and communications technology stack.
  • Ensures operational consistency and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure that all websites and other communication platforms include accurate, up-to-date, and complete information about the organization and its content priorities, including content for newsletters and other communications.
  • Responsible for community management: monitor sentiment across all social media and podcast platforms.
  • Produce weekly and annual performance highlights and audience insights.
  • Maintain marketing and analytics infrastructure for Futuro Media, extensions, and content, including updating monthly metrics reports and fact sheets.
  • Assist with coordination of and social interaction during live editorial events (e.g., live tweeting, photography, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Four to six years of professional experience in marketing, digital media, and/or social media.
  • Demonstrable experience managing social media, email, SEO, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Strong writing skills
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement, and have a passion for discovering innovative ways to connect with audiences
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate them-particularly through video;
  • Organizes and manages own work to deliver assignments with high-quality results on-time.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $80K - $90K, as well as benefits, a generous time off policy and professional development support.
