The Events Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing customer-facing and internal events that support Industrial Automation's growth strategy, brand awareness, customer engagement, and pipeline generation objectives. This role partners closely with Strategic Marketing, Sales, Business Leaders, Communications, Digital Marketing, Product Management, and external vendors to deliver world-class event experiences that showcase Schneider Electric's Industrial Automation solutions and thought leadership.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, data-driven, and capable of managing multiple complex events simultaneously while ensuring flawless execution and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities: Event Strategy & Planning- Develop and execute annual event strategies aligned with IA business and marketing priorities.
- Manage a portfolio of trade shows, customer events, executive forums, roadshows, webinars, Automation Days, and industry conferences.
- Build event project plans, timelines, budgets, and success metrics.
- Identify opportunities to maximize engagement, lead generation, and customer experience.
Event Execution- Lead end-to-end event management from concept through post-event evaluation.
- Coordinate venue selection, logistics, registration, travel, hospitality, booth design, and on-site operations.
- Manage relationships with event agencies, suppliers, and external partners.
- Ensure consistent Schneider Electric branding and messaging across all event assets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with Strategic Marketing to align events with campaign objectives and target audiences.
- Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to drive customer engagement and pipeline creation.
- Work with Communications, Content, and Digital Marketing teams to develop event promotion and follow-up campaigns.
- Coordinate executive participation, customer meetings, speaking engagements, and hospitality programs.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement- Define KPIs and measure event success, including attendance, leads, pipeline influence, customer engagement, and ROI.
- Analyze event performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Develop executive-level reports and dashboards highlighting event outcomes and business impact.
Budget & Vendor Management- Manage event budgets and ensure spending aligns with approved plans.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance.
- Track event expenses and deliver programs within budget targets.
Required- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, events, program management, or field marketing.
- Experience managing large-scale trade shows, executive events, and customer engagement programs.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
Preferred- Experience in Industrial Automation, Manufacturing, Digital Transformation, Process Automation, or related industries.
- Knowledge of demand generation and pipeline measurement.
- Experience supporting executive-level customer engagements.
- PMP, CMP, or similar project/event management certification.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 117,600 - USD 176,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
