Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Market Director, Physician Enterprise Operations, you will provide administrative leadership and direction to Physician Enterprise, hospital medicine, and clinic-based market practices, with a primary focus on Hospital Medicine.
Every day you will serve on the Leadership Team, driving strategic and operational decision-making, acting as a liaison for Medical Leadership. You will facilitate the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of services, collaborating with organizational leaders and clinical directors to achieve market goals and objectives. You will also oversee practice operations, employed physician relations, and fiscal performance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies.
To be successful in this role, you will possess extensive administrative leadership in physician enterprise operations, expertise in hospital medicine and clinic management, strong financial acumen (including EMR, finance, physician reimbursement, and budgeting), and a proven ability to collaborate with physician leaders and ensure regulatory compliance to achieve strategic market goals.
- Strategically leads and manages programs, developing and implementing strategies, and measuring outcomes to enhance infrastructure and competency.
- Identifies and implements best practices through comparative analysis, continuously evaluating program activities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Liaises with external organizations, ensures contractual compliance, and keeps executives informed of program operations, performance, and concerns.
- Evaluates productivity, collaborating to balance efficiency with quality and customer satisfaction, and continuously assesses overall program effectiveness.
- Guides long-range and annual program plans, building key networks, leading quality improvement, and optimizing program financial health.
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of five (5) years management of hospital or clinic based physicians
- Risk Management and regulatory compliance as they relate to physician practice and the acute care environment
- Significant leadership in quality initiatives with definitive goal achievement
- Experience working with integrated care systems
Preferred
- Master's Degree
- A minimum of eight (8) years of management in clinical and/or health system operations leadership
- Significant and proven leadership skills developed through several years in management positions within the acute care hospital or clinic based setting
