Define and standardize manufacturing processes, procedures, work instructions, material handling strategies, and engineering documentation to reduce operator dependency and improve repeatability and quality.
Establish and manage electronics manufacturing and test KPIs focused on quality, scrap, first-pass yields, equipment downtime, and capacity utilization.
Own CapEx planning, equipment selection, vendor qualification, installation, commissioning, training, and lifecycle management for manufacturing and test infrastructure.
Lead root cause investigations within manufacturing using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, Fishbone Diagram, and 5-Why analysis.
Partner cross-functionally with other departments to ensure manufacturability and production readiness.
Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives during product development and NPI phases.
Develop and execute long-term manufacturing and test technology roadmaps aligned with production scaling and operational excellence goals.
Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, IPC, ISO, and regulatory manufacturing standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Establish equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and asset management programs within manufacturing engineering to ensure systems operate reliably and within specification.
Provide hands-on support for production floor escalations by troubleshooting and solving product, process, equipment, test, and quality issues in real time to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.
