Manufacturing Engineer

About the Team
This role develops, optimizes, and supports PCB final assembly and injection molding processes by improving quality, capacity, and capability while leading root cause analysis, DOE studies, tooling development, and new product launch readiness. It requires strong technical expertise, cross functional communication, and hands on engineering leadership to ensure robust manufacturing performance and scalable production.

What you can look forward to as Manufacturing Engineer:
  • Responsible for the activities related to the development and support of Printed Circuit Board Final Assembly processes and Injection Molding processes including analyzing & improving quality, capacity, and capability.
  • Perform root cause analysis, process capability studies, and implement process controls to ensure process performance requirements are met and sustained.
  • Develop equipment, mold tooling, materials, and process performance requirements, performs vendor searches and equipment evaluation to ensure adequate capability to produce quality product in required quantities at an effective cost.
  • Develops and performs Designed Experiment (DOE) and capability studies, develops process specifications, and designs & procures process tooling.
  • Develops process and equipment documentation and trains personnel on new processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Provide technical support for new product launches including establishing process recipes, tooling procurement, and performing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews identifying improvements for manufacturability.
  • Apply verbal and written communications skills in periodic and special reports/presentations both internally and with customers.
  • Capable of reading mechanical CAD drawings with understanding of GD&T drafting principles.


Your profile as Manufacturing Engineer:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field with seven years related experience
  • Experience with implementation and technical support of automated final assembly processes & equipment for Printed Circuit Board technologies.
  • Experience with Injection Molding process, Injection Molding Tool Design for Manufacturing, SMED, and direct Mold Tooling Maintenance
  • Experience in the development and execution of designed experiments (DOE's)
  • Team leadership skills, project management skills, and the capability to communicate and influence others.
  • Experience with supporting PFMEA and control plans.
  • Training in Green Belt / Black Belt Six Sigma with practical experience
  • Experience with industrial controls such as PLC's and Robotics


The expected base compensation for this role is $85,300 - $100,000 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
