Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer , you will support day-to-day production, develop assembly processes, create work instructions, and design production jigs and fixtures.

You will work closely with Production, NPI, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve manufacturability, resolve production issues, and help ensure smooth, reliable manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing technical support to production lines and assembly teams, including real-time troubleshooting on the floor.
  • Design, define, and build jigs and fixtures to improve assembly accuracy, quality, and throughput.
  • Develop and implement detailed work instructions, including diagrams, images, and step-by-step assembly sequences.
  • Perform root cause analysis for production and quality issues and lead corrective and preventive actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of production processes, focusing on efficiency, cycle time, and ergonomics.
  • Train operators and assembly personnel on work processes, use of jigs, and new standards.
  • Collaborate closely with NPI, Quality, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain to define and optimize production procedures.
  • Maintain and update relevant production documentation.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience designing and specifying jigs and production fixtures - mandatory.
  • 3+ years of experience in production/process engineering with complex electro-mechanical systems (drones, robotics, lasers, electronics) -strong advantage.
  • Proven experience building assembly work instructions and technical process documentation.
  • Practical technical background with hardware components, tools, and assembly processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment.
  • Independent, proactive, and highly structured mindset, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally (Production, NPI, Quality).
  • Good proficiency in MS Office tools; Excel skills are an advantage.

Nice to Have

  • B.Sc/Practical. in Mechanical, Electrical
  • Experience with ERP Priority.
  • Experience in the UAV/drone industry.
  • Familiarity with visual documentation tools (video, animation, CAD for work instructions).
