Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.What You'll Do- Lead process improvement, problem resolution, and employee training initiatives.
- Improve manufacturing methods for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency.
- Prepare and present plans for improvements and coordinate deployment, including training.
- Assist the Plant Manager in enhancing production control systems, SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
- Research, design, and develop manufacturing processes including production flow and assembly methods.
- Maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
- Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, set goals, train teams, and evaluate results.
- Design, develop, and test tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
- Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Represent manufacturing on cross-functional teams and participate in cost reviews and standards development.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
- Strong technical capacity, problem-solving skills, and leadership ability.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- CNC/Waterjet background, Lean manufacturing experience, project management experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to fumes, moving parts, and vibration.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and meet vision requirements for precision work.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in safe work environments, union settings, and compliance with state/federal regulations.
- Familiarity with capital improvement projects.
- CAD proficiency preferred.
Work Environment & Travel- Frequent exposure to mechanical parts and loud noise levels.
- Travel is primarily local, with occasional overnight trips.
Job Compensation$91,000 to $137,000 _ Bonus Incentive
