Job Summary

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

Spire Outsourcing helps financial professionals save time, increase efficiency, and deliver high-quality financial plans to their clients. Developed by experienced CFP® professionals, Spire acts as an extension of advisory teams by providing comprehensive financial plan construction and support, allowing advisors to focus on growing their businesses and strengthening client relationships.

Position Summary

Spire Outsourcing is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Managing Director to lead the continued growth and expansion of our financial planning outsourcing business. This executive-level leader will be responsible for driving business development, developing strategic initiatives, cultivating industry relationships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional financial planning services.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader in financial planning with strong business development experience, deep industry expertise, and a passion for helping financial professionals expand the value they deliver to their clients.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute Spire's strategic growth plan and annual operating budget.
  • Partner with executive leadership to enhance service offerings and drive business expansion.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and client outcomes.

Business Development
  • Create and implement business development strategies that support annual revenue goals.
  • Build relationships with RIAs, financial advisors, enterprises, and industry partners.
  • Expand market awareness and adoption of Spire Outsourcing services.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the firm's market position and industry presence.

Client Experience
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and strategic reviews.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality financial planning solutions.
  • Champion client satisfaction and long-term retention.

Team Leadership
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead financial planning professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Promote ongoing professional development and industry education.
  • Support the implementation of technologies and processes that improve service delivery.

Industry Expertise
  • Stay informed regarding financial planning trends, regulatory developments, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools, methodologies, and technologies to strengthen service offerings.
  • Represent Spire at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

What We Are Looking For
  • 10+ years of financial planning, wealth management, consulting, or related leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and revenue growth.
  • Experience leading teams and managing strategic initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning processes and advisor needs.

Required Credentials
  • CFP® designation or equivalent professional designation required.
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required.
