Responsibilities
In the Managing Family Law Attorney Role
You'll oversee complex divorce and custody matters, lead your team of attorneys and paralegals, and collaborate directly with the Managing Partner on firm operations and growth. This is a true leadership-track role for an attorney who wants to build, lead, and leave a legacy in family law.
What You'll Do
• Handle and oversee complex family law cases from intake through resolution.
• Lead case strategy meetings and "hot case" reviews for optimal results.
• Mentor and support the other attorneys on your team.
• Partner with firm leadership to drive team growth, performance, and excellence.
• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trials with professionalism and integrity.
• Uphold the firm's culture, core values, and Excellence Operating Procedures (EOP) daily.
Qualifications
• JD and an active Georgia Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of current, active Georgia family law experience (divorce, custody, support, modifications, contempt).
• Proven track record of courtroom success and strong client relationships.
• Experience in a Managing Attorney role, having led a team of at least 4 attorneys
• Leadership instincts, organizational strength, and excellent communication.
• High professional integrity, emotional intelligence, and a team-oriented mindset.
