Full Job Description
The Managing Attorney will play a crucial role in CIP PC's success. You will lead a team of attorneys and paralegals, be responsible for client management, whilst retaining existing clients by fostering strong client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in immigration law, team success, and will embrace the opportunity to help grow the firm's practice. In addition, this role is responsible for managing a team, while having an eye towards excellent client service and top-quality legal work.

What you'll do:
  • Prepare and file cases for acceptance and approval (all case types)
  • Recommend options and strategy and implement recommendations without supervision
  • Perform client management of Enterprise clients and guiding these clients through processes
  • Manage, guide, and mentor team members, and support Partner with team management
  • Review marketing material and support Envoy/GIA sales and marketing initiatives
  • Perform reporting/auditing duties
  • Present trainings and webinars to clients and potential clients
  • Communicate law and policy updates to team/firm
  • Interview and provide hiring recommendations
  • Demonstrate legal competencies
  • Demonstrate behavior in relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners (i.e. Envoy, vendors, etc.) that is professional, proactive, considerate, and accountable
  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Admittance to the State Bar
  • At least 8 years of related experience
  • Prior team management experience required
  • Consistently meets SLEs (Service Level Expectations)
  • Expert level proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency of the English language in both written and verbal forms; Bilingual a plus, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to gain rapport, foster relationships, and provide excellent dedication to exceptional client service
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and consistent accuracy of work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and strict deadlines
