5-7 years of underwriting experience in property and casualty insurance
Proven track record in managing underwriting teams
Strong understanding of underwriting principles and company policies
Ability to foster relationships with independent agencies
Experience with workers compensation insurance

Full Job Description
Currently seeking an experienced Underwriting Manager who will be responsible for acquiring and retaining profitable property, casualty, and workers compensation accounts through sound underwriting principles reflective of company policy, overseeing a team of underwriters and associate underwriters who promote sales of various P&C products through the independent agency system. This position will be hybrid in our Glen Allen, VA office or opportunity for remote within our territory.

The salary range for this position is $128,396-$197,729 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
