Job DescriptionEssential Job Functions- Own the supply chain business standards for QAD, including material planning, inventory transactions, production reporting, and shipping; align technical changes with IT.
- Develop and maintain supply chain policies, procedures, standard work, and a controlled playbook; recommend policy changes to the Director for approval.
- Establish master-data ownership, validation rules, and change controls for planning parameters, item data, bills of material, and routings with the responsible functions.
- Lead EDI business requirements and process adoption with IT and customer-facing teams; validate demand, releases, shipment information, and exception handling.
- Define common KPI calculations and reporting requirements; improve data quality and reduce duplicate spreadsheets and manual reporting.
- Assess plant maturity and process gaps; prioritize improvements and lead testing, training, rollout, and stabilization of approved changes.
- Govern PFEP, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and planning standards; coordinate field implementation with the Process & Inventory Analyst and plant teams.
- Conduct process audits, coach users, and verify corrective-action effectiveness; escalate unresolved barriers with recommended actions.
- Guide the analyst’s work priorities and development; transfer successful plant practices and consultant-developed methods into repeatable CSP standards.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in manufacturing materials, supply chain systems, or operational improvement, including leadership of cross-functional projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of ERP/MRP, inventory control, production reporting, master data, and customer demand processes.
- Demonstrated experience creating procedures, implementing process changes, training users, and improving adoption across teams or sites.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, root-cause problem solving, and translating business needs into clear system requirements.
Preferred Experience- QAD functional experience and automotive Tier 1 manufacturing experience.
- Experience with EDI, reporting tools such as Power BI, and system testing or deployment.
- ASCM CPIM/CSCP or Lean/Six Sigma training or certification.

Working Relationships & AccountabilityOwns supply chain business requirements and standards. IT retains technical architecture, security, infrastructure, and system administration. Plants remain responsible for daily execution; policy exceptions are escalated to the Director.
Performance MeasuresQAD transaction compliance, EDI utilization, data quality, reporting reliability, audit-action closure, and adoption of standard processes.
Work Environment & TravelBased in the Auburn Hills, MI main office, with 50% travel to CSP facilities, including overnight stays, for assessments, workshops, training, and implementation. Work includes office analysis and on-site activity in manufacturing environments. Follow applicable site safety and PPE requirements.
