Manager (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

Job Type: Full-time | 1.0 FTE

Up to a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Candidates (two-year commitment) and up to $10,000 in Relocation (with receipts)

Schedule: Exempt, Days, Monday-Friday (available for staff when needed including weekends and holidays)

• Provide leadership and oversight for daily Operating Room operations and staff.

• Promote a culture of patient safety, quality, and service excellence.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary leaders to optimize surgical services and patient outcomes.

• Support staff development, engagement, recruitment, retention, and performance management.

• Monitor staffing, scheduling, productivity, and departmental operations.

• Drive quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts.

• Manage resources effectively to support operational and financial goals.

• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on teamwork and professional growth.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current Montana RN license or Compact RN License with Montana endorsement, and possess an Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Education: Master’s degree (nursing or relevant field) preferred

• Certifications: BLS, PALS and ACLS required

• Experience: Previous Operating Room nursing experience required; Progressive leadership experience in perioperative services preferred.

• Skills: Strong knowledge of surgical workflows, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements, excellent communication, critical thinking, and team-building skills.
