Job Description Our team is dedicated to optimizing revenue cycle processes, ensuring efficient and compassionate care across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, hospice, and emergency services. Role OverviewAs the Manager - Revenue Services, you will lead and coordinate operational and personnel functions within the revenue cycle, including insurance verification, self-pay conversions, and registration services. Your expertise will drive process improvements, performance monitoring, and quality initiatives, ensuring a customer-focused and efficient operation that supports both patients and staff across Henry Ford Health.
What You Will Do- Manage and coordinate revenue cycle operations, including insurance verification, self-pay conversions, and registration services.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance revenue cycle efficiency and performance.
- Review and create metrics to monitor and improve team performance.
- Oversee safety practices, compassionate care, and memorable patient experiences.
- Coach and mentor staff to foster a positive and innovative work environment.
- Collaborate with leadership, staff, patients, and agencies to ensure seamless operations.
QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's Degree or five (5) years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Five (5) years of revenue cycle experience, including billing, registration, and point of service collections.
- Three (3) years of supervisory/leadership experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of revenue cycle processes and state/government billing standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, and the Internet.
- Ability to analyze reports, problem-solve, and implement solution-based ideas.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:- EPIC experience preferred.
