Summary:
Manage the collection for multiple hospitals for third-party, Medicare, and Medicaid accounts in order to ensure an adequate and constant cash flow to support financial viability. Monitor create and analyze applicable reports with financial and compliance data. Investigate claims and payment patterns. Resolves issues to ensure prompt payment of claims and adherence to compliance regulations. Work with Managed Care contracting, other internal departments, governmental agencies and other payers to resolve issues to ensure prompt payment of claims and adherence to compliance regulations.
Education:- Bachelor's degree or specialized training required.
Experience:- Five years of related revenue cycle experience required.
- Must possess knowledge of hospital revenue cycle to ensure compliant collections.
- Experience managing large staff (30-50 employees).
