Full Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a multi-store retail role, ideally within a luxury, premium consumer, or specialty retail environment; Bachelor's degree preferred; a relevant combination of education and work experience will be considered. You will have demonstrated project management experience: managing concurrent project with cross-functional stakeholders, defined milestones, and budget accountability. You will have strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. You will be highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with superior follow-through, and be able to manage multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities, tight deadlines, and shifting timelines, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); SAP knowledge is preferred. What are we expecting from you? The Manager, Retail Operations is responsible for the execution and management of daily retail operations, ensuring compliance with both Maison and Richemont Policies. This role serves as the primary project manager for store development initiatives, such as new store openings, renovations, and relocations across the Americas, coordinating cross-functional efforts and continuously evolving related processes. The Manager, Retail Operations also builds and maintains strong partnerships with key corporate functions to support process improvement, system enhancements, and ensure strategic alignment and scalable solutions throughout the regional retail network. In this role, you will: Operational Management & Systems: - Execute and manage daily retail operations functions in line with Maison Policy and Richemont Policy, ensuring operational excellence across store operations. - Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of all in-store processes, applications, systems, policies, and procedures, staying current with business changes to drive necessary updates. - Manage the team's communication calendar for recurring activities, system updates, and project work. Project Management (Store Development & Initiatives): - Support the Senior Manager, Retail Operations in managing the project portfolio, acting as the primary project manager for new store openings, renovations, and relocations across the Americas. - Coordinate project activities with cross-functional corporate partners and Retail Leadership, managing timelines, communication, and store team coordination, including floor plan reviews with Store Design. - Develop and continually evolve New Store Opening (NSO) process, procedures, checklists, and communication strategies, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement: - Build and maintain strong partnerships with key cross-functional teams (Retail, Retail Finance, Inventory Control, Legal, Logistics, Training, After Sales, CRM, Merchandising, Store Planning) to facilitate coordination and ensure alignment on shared objectives across the Americas. - Support the development of operational user guides, SOPs, and system enhancements. - Facilitate coordination among Regional Operations Managers and maintain presence at key retail events as needed.
