Job Summary and QualificationsPlanning and managing the supervision of the daily maintenance and operation of the physical plant. Strong knowledge of HVAC, chillers, boilers, building automation system, utilities, building mechanical and electrical systems, computerized maintenance management system and budget management.
- Oversees implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to improve performance, facility reliability, patient outcomes, and maintains compliance with TJC, CMS, HIPAA, State/Federal Government rules, regulations and other accreditation standards.
- Implement and maintain programs and procedures to comply with codes and standards including TJC, CMS, HIPAA, State/Federal Government rules, regulations and other accreditation standards.
- Manages activities to maintain a safe and reliable plant
- Lead, develop and motivate caregivers to meet the mission and goals of the organization through continuous quality improvement and training.
- Posses the ability to learn navigation of building automation system, computerized maintenance management system, Fire alarm system, Pneumatic tube system, etc.
- Completes other duties to support the organization as assigned or requested.
What qualifications you will need:Required Education: Bachelor of Science degree or a combination of education and related experience
Preferred License/Certification: Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), trade related license
Required Experience: 5 or more years of progressive Facility Management experience
Preferred Experience: 10 or more years of progressive Facility Management experience in a complex environment with a minimum of 3 years in healthcare
