Purpose Statement: The Planning Manager will drive collaboration across the overall Plexus value stream. Coordinating and directing resources based upon balancing customer demand requirements and feasibility to achieve Customer Service Excellence and Operational Goals.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Responsible for the competence, training and development of the Planning team, and ensure the functional teams adhere to SOP and Work Instructions.
Facilitate collaborative processes with key functional teams (i.e. Materials, Production, Program Management, and Finance) that drive operational excellence.
Support Demand Management and Planning processes related to Capacity Planning and Sales, Inventory, Operations & Planning.
Manage and provide oversight and direction to the planning team to ensure the coordination and development to of a master production schedule that optimizes customer satisfaction, days of inventory and supports the site revenue plan.
Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 8 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
