Full-time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period
8-hour day shifts, Monday - Friday
The
Pharmacy Manager has staff accountability for the development, implementation and provision of progressive pharmaceutical products and distribution systems, and provision of pharmaceutical care with emphasis on consistent quality, positive patient care outcomes, and cost efficiency.
Experience/Qualifications- Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards and practices is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- Completion of a residency or fellowship in Pharmacy practice with a master's degree in pharmacy or business administration beneficial.
- A minimum of three years' experience as a Pharmacist in a Joint Commission accredited facility.
- Experience in adult education is beneficial.
- Membership in the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists.
- Demonstrated expertise in pharmacy practice by contribution to professional literature beneficial.
- Demonstrated abilities in computer applications for word processing, database management and spreadsheets beneficial.
- Membership in the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin necessary.
- Membership in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy beneficial.
Licensure- Possesses a current Wisconsin Pharmacist license.
