Job Summary and Qualifications- You will perform a variety of managerial duties which require a substantial knowledge of Hospital and Medical Staff Services Policies and Procedures, and tools in Quality Management
- As a member of the management team, you will participate in the development and implementation of hospital-wide plans, goals and objectives
- You shall have organizational responsibility for various operational functions in the Quality Department, including but not limited to survey readiness, regulatory functions, and peer review
- You will work at the direction of the Director of Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation in execution of the Hospital wide Performance Improvement Plan
- You will work closely with HCA Clinical Operations, Quality and Patient Safety to leverage corporate programs, tools and methodologies, align resources and drive participation in HCA regulatory and quality initiatives
- You will assist in providing direction and oversight during regulatory surveys/ visits, writing and developing collaborative and comprehensive plans of correction as appropriate, and creating sustainable measures of success if indicated
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Related Field required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
- 3+ years experience in healthcare quality/regulatory accreditation management required
- Understanding of data management systems required
