Responsibilities Position Description: This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy.
In this job, you will lead the Pharmacy department at Palmdale Regional Medical Center, overseeing daily operations, staffing, budgeting, compliance, and medication management to ensure safe, effective, and efficient pharmaceutical care. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and hospital leadership to support high-quality patient care, maintain regulatory readiness, and promote best practices across the department.
You will be responsible for supervising pharmacy staff, managing workflows and schedules, monitoring quality and performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and hospital regulations. You will also support medication safety initiatives, participate in policy development, and help drive continuous improvement in pharmacy services.
Qualifications Qualifications - Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in acute care pharmacy
- Prefer 8-10 years
- 1 year of supervisory experience is requires
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.)
- Preferred Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm. D.)
- Preferred Master's in Business Degree (M.B.A)
- Preferred Master's Degree (M.S.)
- Preferred ASHP Accredited Pharmacy Residency
