EHS Manager to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Warsaw, Indiana. The ideal candidates should have a strong breadth of EHS knowledge, including experience building EHS Systems from the ground up.
Requirements of the EHS Manager- Bachelor s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
- 12 years in EHSS experience
- Industry certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, OSHA Outreach Trainer, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of EHSS regulations and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide training initiatives.

Responsibilities of the EHS Manager- Create and manage comprehensive EHS programs that comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels, ensuring awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead investigations into EHS incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure all operations comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS practices, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS activities, incidents, and compliance.
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, security, and other departments to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of manufacturing processes.
- Oversee occupational health clinic operations ensuring all company employees receive the highest quality of care across plant operations.
- Provide clean and effective reporting on EHS Performance across operations and ensure integration of key leading metrics within responsible departments.
