Responsibilities

Manager Education

Position located at Corona Regional Medical Center located in Corona, CA

R e p o r t i n g to Director of Clinical Operations (DCOP), the Manager of Education i s responsible for developing a comprehensive education program and providing development opportunities for all levels of staff at Corona Regional Medical Center. This will be achieved by collaborating with the DCOP and the various department directors. Included in this responsibility is the oversight and coordination of C R MC staff's commitment to demonstrate unparalleled competency and service tits customers. Supports and maintains regulatory requirements for staff competency assessment.

Manages the various educational offerings at CRMC and the team executing them; A cc e ss e s clinical performance in relation to established performance standards; collaborates with clinical management in i d e n t i f y i n g learning needs of staff; assesses learning needs of orientees and trainees in relation to their position performance standards. Manages and develops orientation programs to meet individual learning needs; develops objectives for each instructional program. Provides a competency-based orientation program for all categories of clinical service personnel. C onducts well planned, organized, relevant, and clinically oriented programs in response to needs. C oordinates continuing education workshops. Prepares manuals, guides, and other materials contributing to improving clinical performance, updating staff instruction and the maintenance of patient care standards.
