OverviewThe Manager, Media Analytics works closely with internal and external campaign stakeholders to ensure media campaigns are properly executed through an analytics lens and that meaningful reporting is produced to communicate measurable progress toward strategic objectives.
It is critical that the Manager, Media Analytics builds strong, collaborative relationships across the company, demonstrates deep understanding of agency services, media technology, and provides best-in-class written and verbal communication skills. She/he must be organized, detail-oriented, curious and optimistic, and with three primary responsibilities:
- Diagnose and solve operational breakdowns by understanding intersecting reporting, brand safety, and ad-serving platform functionality.
- Partner for continuous improvement with client and agency stakeholders to improve collective operations and deliverables against KPIs.
- Evolve measurement by staying current on platform capabilities and recommending new approaches and partners as appropriate.
Responsibilities- Execute project plans following approved objectives and timelines.
- Work closely with internal media teams to support a seamless transition from media planning, campaign deployment, and post-campaign report analytics.
- Enforce data governance procedures across media platforms, databases, and data visualization platforms.
- Maintain and update documentation for team processes, measurement standards, and operational workflows.
- Develop effective campaign measurement plans in conjunction with client data teams to achieve business objectives.
- Coordinate data collection across media analytics, media strategy, and ad operations for client MMM initiatives.
- Lead day-to-day escalation and troubleshooting for a team of Senior Analysts.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a Junior Analyst, strengthening both soft skills and technical capabilities.
- Oversee and consult with AdOps execution of media tags and Digital Analytics implementation of site tags.
- Conduct market research, stay updated on industry trends, and provide internal and client POVs where applicable.
- Manage technology partner relationships to achieve optimal outcomes for client objectives
- Act as a resource to agency teams for data management, tagging, and platform management needs; escalate to leadership as necessary.
- Maintain end-to-end understanding of campaign deployment and analytics delivery processes across departments.
- Streamline ad tech workflows and remove redundancies.
Qualifications- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent (marketing, business, and/or communications)
- 5+ years of experience doing marketing analytics at an agency, building data-backed insights and recommendations, optimizing processes, and delivering best-in-class operational excellence
- Strong quantitative and qualitative skills with proven data interpretation abilities.
- Ability to move beyond descriptive analytics and employ more sophisticated techniques (predictive & prescriptive analytics)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work across functional areas.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, attentive and knowledgeable about user interface issues, and proficiency in quantitative data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise, client-ready documents.
- Experience in ad-serving and web analytics tools (Google DFA, Atlas, GA4, Omniture, etc.)
- Experience with brand safety solutions (DoubleVerify or IAS)
- Knowledge of DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon, etc), ad servers (CM360, FlashTalking, etc.), bid management platforms (Skai, Marin, DD360), data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), and Prisma.
- Strong proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (e.g., spreadsheet formatting, pivot tables, graphs, vlookups, macros required.)
- Experience with BI/Data visualization tools (especially Tableau, but could also include Origami Logic, Datorama, Domo, Sisense)
- Proficiency with SQL and Python.
- Experience with syndicated research sources/tools (Nielsen/comScore)
- Anticipatory in approach, diagnosing problems and communicating implications before they arise
- Open and receptive to different perspectives, illustrating a high learning agility and dealing calmly with stress

Compensation Range: USD $88,540.00 - USD $135,632.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
