Summary

Summary/Objective

Manager LNG Operations activities take place within a highly competitive and fast-changing global market. Success requires agile portfolio management capable of adapting to evolving market conditions, operational constraints, and counterparty requirements. This role serves as a critical interface between feedgas, commercial, trading, shipping, terminal operators, vessel agent, tug services, and tollers to ensure seamless cargo execution, regulatory compliance, and contractual performance. This position combines highly operational responsibilities with commercial exposure and requires responsiveness, sound judgment, and the ability to effectively manage unexpected operational issues. The role also involves after-hours support and participation in a 24/7 on-call framework to ensure the safe and efficient execution of LNG operations.

Essential Functions

  1. LNG Exporting Business - Commercial Manager
  • Participate and assist the LNG team during the discussion and negotiation of annual delivery program (ADP) to ensure alignment of liftings and delivery windows.
  • The primary operational interface between feedgas, commercial, trading, terminal, shipping, and regulatory stakeholders to support successful cargo deliveries and lifting programs.
  • Manage day-to-day LNG operational activities, including vessel nominations, berth scheduling, loading programs, and cargo documentation.
  • Selects and nominates Independent Surveyors at the relevant terminal where applicable.
  • Monitor vessel readiness, ETA reporting, pre-arrival requirements, Certificates of Compliance (COC), Ship Shore Compatibility Studies (SSCS), quality vetting requirements, and terminal obligations.
  • Ensure timely completion of operational documentation, including customs filings, export declarations, regulatory reporting, surveyor documentation, and cargo records.
  • Verify LNG loading and discharge volumes, inventory positions, production data, and operational reports to ensure accuracy and contractual compliance.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, marine constraints, weather impacts, and scheduling conflicts.
  • Participate in emergency response activities, after-hours operational support, and on-call coverage as required to support 24/7 LNG operations.
  • Produce regular report on short term LNG supply demand fundamentals and fleet dynamics for analysis and data visualization.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple global time zones.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree /MBA in Business or Finance.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in oil and gas (LNG industry experience not required)
  • Prior leadership experience
