Are you the person who looks at a team of good people and sees the next version of them? Do you believe the smartest way to close a skills gap is not always a job posting, but a learning path for the people already here? Can you design a bootcamp that takes a busy employee from curious to competent while they keep doing their day job, and a learning path they actually finish? If upskilling the people who already work here, building programs that stick, and running the Vertech Learning and Development function sounds like a good Tuesday, come build the learning engine that keeps Vertech moving forward.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build role-based learning paths that take someone from their first week to their next role, covering onboarding, up-skilling, reskilling, career growth, and succession planning.
- Own VertechLEADS end to end: curriculum, scheduling, communications, facilitator coordination, participant experience, and the continuous improvement that keeps it worth showing up for.
- Design, develop, coordinate, and deliver manager and leadership programs that people look forward to instead of quietly dread.
- Find the real capability gaps by pairing business planning with performance data, manager input, employee feedback, and capability assessments, because guessing is not a strategy.
- Create the curriculum, facilitator guides, participant materials, assessments, job aids, and everything else that makes a session run well when the room is full.
- Manage learning calendars, vendors, budgets, learning technology, and program records, because the work behind the scenes is what makes the front of the room look easy.
- Use participation, completion, learner feedback, and business outcomes to keep improving the programs, and make sure everything reflects Vertech policies, safety expectations, compliance requirements, and the culture we are building.
