Summary:
Responsible for managing information services staff and operations of IT Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Security and Network teams. Acts as liaison between Information Technology and other hospital areas to determine information systems' needs, define projects and priorities, and plan equipment acquisition. Maintains information technology strategies through policy development, researching and implementing technological strategic solutions. Responsible for providing consultation and advising on issues relating to Information Technology. The IT Infrastructure and Telecommunications Manager should be technically proficient and possess the ability to provide hands-on assistance to the Telecommunications and Infrastructure team. Reports to Director of Information Technology.

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and providing corrective action to employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
2. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
3. Assists with development of budget preparation for Telecommunications and Infrastructure Teams. Recommends space and other capital resources needed by the department. Prepares all reports required by Director Information Technology.
4. Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
5. Coordinates moderately complex IT Infrastructure and Telecommunications projects by coordinating resources, timelines with user departments and data center. Coordinates with IT Project Management resources for highly complex projects.
6. Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
7. Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery, back-up procedures, and information security and control structures.
8. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization service level agreements. Works with IT Management team to provide high quality service and support to Faith Health and other supported entities.
9. Ensures technology is accessible and compliant with current organization hardware and software standards.
10. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
11. Oversees the management and maintenance of Faith Health infrastructure to maximize uptime and availability. Works with Information Technology Director and Manager Clinical Applications to ensure all applications are efficiently supported by Faith Health Infrastructure.
Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Current, valid driver's license issued in the state of legal residence required.
Operate FRHS owned vehicles required.
Previous Experience Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
4 years of experience in managing Information systems required.
2 years of experience in managing IT teams preferred.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

Demonstrate strong analytical and observation skills required.
Excellent written and verbal communications and negotiation skills required.

Equivalent combination of education/experience required.
Knowledge of latest developments in field and upgrade IT infrastructure required.
