Full Job Description
Your Role

The Manager, Investor Relations will report into the Vice President, Investor Relations, joining a team that plays a critical role in communicating Aptiv's business strategy, financial performance, and long-term value creation to the investment community. This individual will partner closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Strategy, Marketing, and Communications teams, among others, to develop compelling messaging that clearly articulates Aptiv's leadership position across markets, near- and long-term financial performance and opportunity, as well as value proposition.

Your Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Manager, Investor Relations include the following:

  • Financial Analysis


  • Analyze quarterly financial performance and identify key drivers for revenue, margins, cash flow, etc.


  • Monitor consensus estimates, understand embedded assumptions (including working directly with analysts), and identify variances versus expectations / guidance


  • Analyze peer financial performance and summarize key takeaways relative to Aptiv


  • Market and Competitive Intelligence


  • Monitor and analyze news flow and investor messaging across peer companies


  • Monitor investor sentiment and summarize feedback across investor/analyst calls, conferences, roadshows, and other meetings


  • Identify emerging investor concerns and recommend messaging strategies


  • External Communications


  • Develop clear and compelling messaging around Aptiv's business strategy, financial performance, competitive positioning, long-term growth opportunities, and value proposition to the investment community


  • Support preparation for quarterly earnings, including press releases, presentations, scripts, and Q&A documents


  • Support preparation for all other investor engagements including Investor Day, speaking engagements, and corporate announcements


  • Assist in responding to investor/analyst inquiries and calls, including expectation to handle independently with time


  • Contribute to shareholder engagement strategies, including targeting for conferences and NDRs, while utilizing CRM to measure and evaluate effectiveness


  • Internal Communications


  • Work closely with various internal constituents to coordinate messaging and ensure consistent across all external communications


  • Support preparation of Board of Directors presentations and communications, and employee-facing presentations, ranging from Leadership to All Employees


Your Background

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another related field


  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of two years spent in a Capital Markets-related role


  • Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills


  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills


  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, and either Bloomberg or FactSet


  • Ability to communicate complex technical and financial topics to investment community


  • Strong project management and organizational skills

They will be highly analytical and strategic, with the ability to quickly synthesize complex technical, financial, and market information into clear, compelling investment narratives. The ideal candidate will be proactive and anticipatory in managing team workflows, comfortable operating independently across assigned workstreams, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while collaborating effectively with executive leadership, institutional investors, analysts, and cross-functional teams.
