Full Job Description
As a Manager, International Tax your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with our International Tax team members to advise multinational organizations in achieving their business objectives, including:
• Preparation and review of income tax provisions under IFRS and US GAAP
• Work with team members on Canadian tax compliance matters with a focus on foreign reporting (i.e. surplus accounts, T106, T1134, T1135, NR4 and withholding taxes)
• Structuring Canadian operations and conducting tax due diligence for the acquisition of Canadian target entities
• Working with our colleagues around the globe to develop strategies that allow multinational organizations to reduce their worldwide effective tax rate
• Researching technical issues with respect to the above as well as inbound and outbound international tax advisory projects
• Coach more junior tax team members and ensuring a meaningful performance review process
• Collaborate with other service lines (e.g., Transfer Pricing, M&A Tax, Indirect Tax and Advisory) to deliver integrated solutions and address clients' evolving business and tax needs
This experience will empower clients to achieve their business objectives while staying true to their strategies instead of altering their plans to fit tax advice. • 4+ years of tax experience,within a professional services firm or a multinational corporation with substantial foreign affiliates.
• Significant tax planning and compliance experience, with a deep understanding of Canadian Corporate Taxation, including inbound and outbound international tax services
• Proven experience in consulting services to clients with international and cross-border operations/investments
• Completion of Bachelor and/or Master's Degree in related field: Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Law, and/or Taxation.
• Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Designation.
• These credentials are considered helpful: CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program or Masters of Taxation.
• A desire to work with a diverse mix of growing, dynamic clients, teams and cross-collaborate
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent research and communication skills
• A strong commitment to client service and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and strong inter-personal skills: "can-do" attitude
• Ability to execute on deliverables in a deadline driven environment

To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $96,800-$133,100 in Mississauga. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
