Summary:

The Manager, HRIS & Data Analytics leads the administration, optimization, reporting, and analytics functions of the People Experience (PX) technology ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Director, People Experience Operations & Project Management, this role ensures the integrity of workforce data, maximizes the effectiveness of HR technology, and delivers timely, accurate, and actionable insights that support organizational decision-making.

Serving as the organization's primary technical expert for UKG and related PX technologies, the Manager oversees system configuration, integrations, reporting governance, data quality, compliance, and user support. This role also transforms complex workforce data into executive-level dashboards, visualizations, and recommendations that inform strategic planning and operational improvement.

Essential Responsibilities

HRIS Administration & Technology Management

Serve as the day-to-day administrator and technical expert for UKG and related People Experience technologies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the administration, maintenance, configuration, and optimization of UKG.


  • Maintain organizational structures, workflows, approval processes, security roles, and business rules.


  • Support the implementation of new modules, system enhancements, upgrades, and releases.


  • Conduct system testing, validation, and quality assurance.


  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate resolution with Information Technology and external vendors.


  • Manage integrations with Payroll, Benefits, Learning, Performance Management, Time and Attendance, and other enterprise systems.


  • Maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and operating procedures.


  • Ensure systems comply with organizational security, privacy, and data governance standards.


Workforce Analytics & Executive Reporting

Lead the development of workforce analytics and reporting that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and maintain executive dashboards, workforce scorecards, and recurring organizational reports.


  • Produce ad hoc analyses for executive leadership, managers, and operational teams.


  • Analyze workforce trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations.


  • Prepare quarterly workforce reports, annual People Experience reports, and analytical materials for Executive Team and Board presentations.


  • Develop clear data visualizations and narratives that make complex information accessible to varied audiences.


  • Support workforce planning, budget modeling, headcount forecasting, position control, compensation analysis, and organizational benchmarking.


  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and reduce manual processes.


Data Governance & Quality

Serve as the steward of People Experience data and reporting standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain data governance standards, definitions, and reporting methodologies.


  • Conduct routine audits and validations to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.


  • Partner with Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to reconcile workforce data.


  • Monitor compliance with data privacy, confidentiality, security, and records management requirements.


  • Maintain standardized procedures for data entry, validation, reporting, and access.


HR Technology Optimization & Continuous Improvement

Continuously improve the organization's use of UKG and related technologies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate current system functionality and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience.


  • Research and implement new capabilities, features, and automation opportunities.


  • Lead configuration improvements and process redesign efforts.


  • Develop best practices for system use and support adoption of new functionality.


  • Stay current on HR technology trends, analytics practices, and emerging reporting capabilities.


Project & Operational Partnership

Partner with the Senior Director to execute People Experience technology and operational initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the HRIS lead for department-wide and enterprise projects.


  • Develop work plans, implementation schedules, testing strategies, and project documentation for technology initiatives.


  • Track deliverables, risks, and milestones and provide regular status updates.


  • Support change management, communication, and training related to system implementations.


  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational processes.


  • Produce SLA reports, ticket metrics, workflow analyses, and other operational performance reporting.


Compliance & Regulatory Reporting

Ensure accurate and timely completion of required workforce reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare federal, state, local, and organizational workforce reports.


  • Support audits and respond to workforce data requests.


  • Produce EEO, affirmative action, pay equity, and other required employment disclosures.


  • Ensure reporting practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards.


Manager and Employee Self-Service

Improve the manager and employee experience within UKG and related systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support and enhance manager and employee self-service functionality.


  • Develop user guides, job aids, and instructional materials.


  • Conduct training on reporting, system functionality, and new features.


  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and user support.


  • Monitor adoption and recommend improvements to usability and system utilization.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field required.


Experience

  • Five plus years of progressively responsible experience in HRIS, workforce analytics, people analytics, or a related field.


  • Three or more years of experience administering UKG Pro or a comparable enterprise HRIS platform.


  • Demonstrated experience designing executive dashboards, workforce reports, and data visualizations.


  • Experience supporting HR technology implementations, integrations, testing, and optimization.


  • Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into business recommendations.


  • Experience partnering with executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
